Blender: Vita Mix: there is no substitute! http://www.vita-mix.com/
Water or Coconut Water: use best water available (ie filtered, not from plastic, ionised, osmosis, etc) or fresh coconut water from thai young coconuts (store bought will do)
Nuts: Brazil nuts are my favorate (best veggie source of selenium and for consistency) but hazelnuts and walnuts also nice
Fresh Fruit and Veggies: Banana (potassium and sweetness) and Avocado (source of "good" fat and nice consistency)
Fat: coconut butter (oil), sacha inchi oil
Sweetener: Stevia or Manuka honey (use sparingly!)
Fiber: flax seeds - fresh de-hulled and ground are best but store bought ok too
Protein: best sources - hemp, whey, rice, e3 live, raw grass-fed organic eggs. Lots of good brands like Sun Warrior http://www.sunwarrior.com/products/sunwarrior-protein
Superfoods and Vitamins: lucama, chai seeds, cacao, goji berry, mesquite meal, maca, acola berry, kamu kamu berry, tocos, spirulina, chlorella, cilantro (works synergistically with chlorella for detoxification), bee pollen, acai berry, colostrum, shredded coconut - mix, match and experiment what works best for you. I mix it up daily
